- Very interesting business in the FinTech industry which is only growing - Great colleagues all across the world - Environment where you can learn - Work from home possibilities

Minpunten

- No "real" possibilities to grow. On paper they say that many people grow each year but in practice this is just a job change or title change but not much difference in terms of responsibilities - The company is very cheap, salaries are low compared to other IT companies. This is also the reason why employees leave all the time. - Employee turnover also leads to unhappy customers and to churn, management is wondering every quarter why the churn is so high but not understanding or wanting to understand that this comes due to experienced and good people leaving every month. - HR is not your friend. - Offices permanently closed in some locations so only working from home although a flex office might be coming in the future

Thank you for the feedback. So much of what you say here resonates with me. We are an interesting business in a rapidly growing industry. We do have great employees all over the globe. I agree with all of that! I am a little bit confused about your comments about no “real” possibilities to grow. You highlighted that there are ample opportunities to learn, and that many employees experience job changes and title changes. Promotions and job changes are certainly career development. You mention how rapidly our business is growing – being an industry leader in a fast-growing, dynamic industry creates incredible opportunity for all of our employees. Whether it be title changes, promotions or moves into different areas of the business. They all happen at Sovos, and we will continue to be proud of the culture of development we foster. You also mentioned that some office locations have moved to fully remote working. Over the past two years we have been working to accommodate the changing needs of our global workforce, while keeping their health, safety and wellbeing our absolute priority. While some of our offices have shifted, we are always evaluating what best serves our workforce. Collaboration is, and always has been, one of our core values, and we are committed to creating work environments and cultures that help employees thrive no matter where or how they work. Sales leadership is horrendous. New people are brought in not trained, aggressive targets (that have never been hit) usually designed to be the escape goats to protect the old guard. Long tenured sales protects the existing power structures. When results slip, they blame newer reps. New hires don’t hit, quotas unrealistic, weak implementation. Nightmare of a company, the worst I have ever worked at.

Quota-setting and new hire ramp structures are areas we invest in seriously - they're because we want our sellers to win, not to set anyone up to fail.
