Pluspunten

Great balance being remote. They were once very competitive with pay but now debatable. There’s room for growth if you know how to approach it and ask for a growth plan. Encouraged travel in previous years. If you are a self starter you will be fine. Find the product set that resonates with your selling style and run with it. PTO has improved slightly but still very behind the times. Warehouse give their all to help the company and the only department to go into the office every day.

Minpunten

Tendency to hire and fire. EBITDA is the excuse for any ounce of potential improvement. CEO is very hot and cold. She does try and it’s not an easy job with the spectrio product set but you have to know tech. Previous CRO had a heart but they ditched him and new CRO is a consultant thinking Spectrio is his big break. Marketing director is rude and clueless, half of the team chose to leave upon her maternity return which is no surprise. HR team is incompetent in areas. Putting sparkles on burnout with Friday fun emails. Once asked whole org to decide if Juneteenth was important or not and to publicly vote to keep it or not. Good luck getting a pay increase, told prior to annual reviews that there was no budget, so reviews were aimless. Most people are burned out. Frequently acquiring companies sounds good but not clear goals or pathway to integrate them. They will just steal books of business with hopes they will be interested in alternative products.

I truly appreciate that the company lives by its core values, and I find the communication and support across most departments to be excellent. Furthermore, my direct manager is wonderful. They consistently value my suggestions and opinions, whether the feedback is positive or constructive.

Minpunten

Some concerns regarding employee engagement and communication. In the past, initiatives like "coffee chats" with the CEO and monthly meetings with upper management were very effective in making staff feel that our ideas and opinions were valued. Since these meetings ended about a year ago, there has been a noticeable shift in morale, leading to a feeling that employee feedback is no longer a priority. Additionally, the high turnover rate in the sales department has created significant concerns regarding job security. I believe it would be beneficial for the company to address these issues directly by providing insight into why this turnover is occurring and sharing the strategic plan for moving forward.
