Pluspunten
I would say one of the only pros of this job is the team. The IT team, sales and dispatcher are all very good people and great to work with. Easy going and friendly.
Minpunten
Low pay; This employer does not pay appropriately for the positions. Management is so disconnected from the company, so much that morale has been significantly down for a year and the owners have done very little to help. For example, the workload is too large. They refused to hire more employees, yet still went out to get new clients and make more money. All they see is money. More clients but not more employees, increases the workload for everyone making it a very stressful environment as of late. The owners are married and HR/Accounting is their cousin, and until recently the manager was the brother of the owner. If this place isn't the definition of nepotism I don't know what is. Basically those employees get special treatment, attendance and PTO policies don't apply to them. Some days the admin of the company would leave for the day to watch the baby of the owner's while they go out for a vacation or event every few weeks. But if we call out sick, we get attendance marks. On that note, the owners are barely there. Lots of vacation time or traveling time, which leads to the disconnect to their employees and therefore lower morale and stressful environment. I worked there for two years, starting when there were 4 other employees and helped raise this company and save their butts multiple times. For my exit meeting from the company, the owner decided that spending time exercising was more important than being there for the exit of the most senior employee, following the two owners and the brother. This is not a place you want to work, unless you are desperate for money and do not care about being overworked and stressed out 24/7. Even when you are not working, you are stressed about the job because there is just not enough time in the day to get to the workload assigned by the company.
