Like other people have said there are a lot of people at Spring Health who are motivated by the mission for mental health which is motivating.

Minpunten

There are two types of reviews here for Spring Health. A whole bunch of one star reviews and only a few high star reviews. The one star reviews are written by employees who have had to deal with the CEO April. She is often rude and micromanages every department. She pushes to have her way even when she knows nothing about what is being talked about. So many talented people have left the company because they can't stand her even when they like the team. Look at her approval rating. 22%. You have to actually work hard at mistreating people to get a score that low. The high star reviews are the few reviews that have been written by people who haven't had to deal with the CEO. If you think that because you're an entry level employee that you will not have to deal with the CEO if you join the company think again because she is a very skilled micromanager. Like others have said here stay away from here to protect your mental health.

The company's products help people in meaningful ways

Company is very poorly misled. There isn't a real vision or culture. In general, ways of working here are scattered and immature. We have a new SDLC every 10 months or so. Constant re-orgs and changes in leadership cause instability. Teams and ICs are re-allocated every 3–6 months. Priorities are constantly shifting. "Science will win" except when it comes to evaluating AI's place in our product. Sudden AI focus despite not having a real vision for how it aligns with our mission. Leaders who report directly to the CEO often cycle out every year or so. There seems to be very little awareness or ownership that leaders aren't set up for success. The company says it cares about employee "thriving" but promotes leaders with very poor scores. It seems to be more of a vanity metric/tool to fire people.
