Japan is stuck in the past and refuses to adapt or accept what gamers/NA coworkers actually need/want Customer Service has been outsourced to save costs but you get what you pay for Projects that would actually win the market have been cancelled consecutively to make room for slop Almost impossible to move up since there's no budget and practically zero opportunity

No promotion opportunities. When someone leaves, they do not hire to replace missing people in a team/department. Employees pick up extra work Stressful work environment Japan taking back control and they are the crux of the issue. They do not know how to attract new customers in regions outside of Japan. Workplace politics Pay is below average Your work feels meaningless. Your opinion does not matter, even if you can present a case for why something should be done a different way, nothing changes
