It's a very cool business, and because it's a global company, you can work with people from many different backgrounds around the globe.

There is a detrimental need to silo responsibility and decision-making. Many projects, integrations, and initiatives' budgets balloon or targets are missed because there is no collaboration. Department heads need to make decisions and don't trust their people. Work is often routinely done twice because a new person is responsible and doesn't check if something has been accomplished. However, while decision-making is siloed, responsibility for poor decisions is spread unfairly within departments, primarily if you work outside the home office in the NL. Consultants design many internal systems and processes because of a need to consolidate decision-making to a specific location. When they leave, a lack of execution is consistently cited as to why they fail.
