Minpunten
Starbucks was once a place where PARTNER CARE really meant something and it went both ways. It did not just apply to our store partners but also to the SSC (Support Service Center). The Back to Starbucks obliterated the culture and because of that, its a very very different company. We are grieving the loss of what was a great company that up until now, no company can replicate. New management tool away the ability to learn new skills and grow in the role by taking away TLA's for support partners and it is all about work harder like a rat on a wheel. Simply horrible. Departments are merged together with no requirement that a manager has to fully understand the work of the person they are managing. Other departments do not have the tools to do the work to actually manage the risk of the company. Partners who have worked for Starbucks for 20, 25 years are terminated and with that, the culture goes as well. And the thanks for working hard and performing above what is expected is no more merit increases but a 2% raise. That does not keep up with the rise of inflation. It is demeaning! How does a company "get back" to Starbucks by treating employees poorly and frequent comments: 'If you don't like it here, leave." It is pure greed at the top and the support partners and operators do not share in the wins. Partners are miserable, and unhappy. The last partner survey was in February 2024. That translates into not caring what partners think about the changes or management. Everyone is on edge on whether there will be more layoffs.
