Pluspunten
I've written several reviews while working here over the years. Things have gotten better and worse over the years. Over the last week they have gotten decidedly worse. There are no longer any positives that State Farm has over other similar companies.
Minpunten
This is not a special company to work for anymore. Do not take a job here unless it pays significantly more. Do not take a job at HCLTech for State Farm. It will eventually be outsourced to India and the Philippines. If you already work here keep your resume up to date. Don't learn outdated tech or processes that won't apply to other companies. Your loyalty means nothing. The company broke their long-term promise that held true for almost exactly 100 years. If you are loyal and work hard, you can spend your entire career here. That is no longer true with the ~1000 people getting laid off and transferred to HCLTech. I am not one of them, but I know many that are.
