Pluspunten
Work was pretty easy and repetitive 90% of the time, outside of when the drivers would have issues. Good place if you are entry level and want to get industry experience. People I worked with were great and fun to be around.
Minpunten
If you don't have someone championing your work and your successes, promotions may be few and far between. The pay is not competitive. There is never a shortage of repetitive work. (Yes, this is a con too. Higher ups have a hard time accepting that they cannot have everything they want at once. As a result, requirements and priorities can change often. They are behind on using the best, most widely accepted frameworks AS400. There is a lack of adapting to the reality of a situation with regards to when loads are not picked up or not delivered on time when unexpected problems arise. With all these cons in mind, take it with a grain of salt. There are politics in any business, and overall Stevens is a solid place to begin or grow your career. Just keep in mind that if you're wanting to rush up the corporate ladder, tenure and birthnames mean everything here. Couple the right attitude with patience and you could achieve that goal. Just don't expect to make a decent salary out of college or even if you have professional experience that could be beneficial to the business. Long hours 7:30am to 5:00pm plus one Saturday every three weeks. Close to 50 hours a week.
