When I worked there, I had good coworkers, and was able to work relatively independently. I was trained in multiple aspects of basic maintenance and whatnot.

Minpunten

Some things I would keep in mind is that since it's a smaller resort, the pay is less than ideal for some people. Also very in the country, far drive (depending on how far you live away) and few places to buy lunch, breakfast, or anything nearby.

I made good tips working as an Event Staff, such as weddings, showers, and outings. The people are nice and the shifts are low-stress. We ate free meals at every event, a big plus as a college student.

Minpunten

It is hard to advance in this environment. I wished to do more serving and bev cart, but I quickly realized that was not attainable. The atmosphere is a little "cliquey" as many of the servers and bev cart and managers have worked there since they were 15, sometimes even customers/family friends before that.
