Elite firm in OC; corporate department well respected in LA; corporate and litigation attorneys generally paid market-rate; corporate brings in large/mid-market clients; interesting work and associates tasked with important responsibilities; billable requirement not too demanding (so long as you manage your load effectively)

Minpunten

Questionable, oligarchy-style management; associates can be overworked; little firm culture; bonuses well below market; slight identity crisis: despite midsize firm resources and manpower, everyone is either from or wants to go to big law; little to no coordination between Newport Beach HQ and satellite offices
