He even implied that if we didn't resolve the problem to his satisfaction, we'd be facing severe consequences that made me genuinely worry about potential legal repercussions, like he was trying to threaten us with something that could land us in jail. A power trip fueled by paranoia and incompetence. I realized then that I was working for a company that had lost all sense of ethical or professional conduct. I resigned on the spot!
