I had an extremely distressing experience at a company event, where I faced inappropriate behavior from a senior leader. When I brought this to the attention of another top executive, instead of addressing the issue appropriately, I was discouraged from speaking up and was indirectly offered incentives to stay quiet. I chose to leave, as my self-respect and safety matter more to me than any retention offer. I am sharing this to caution future candidates, especially those considering roles in the Sales and Marketing teams.
