- Office politics: You are judged on your networking skills more than actual work - Does not want to embrace new ways of doing things: If you can repeat the same process with perfection, you’re applauded but you’re not rewarded enough for pushing for change or coming up with new ideas - Success at your job is pleasing the upper management - Less respect to lower level employees (company hides behind “opportunities”, good benefits policy to pay less to employees) - Shocking low pay with no clear answer on pay, progression - Management will take away opportunities from you to keep you and your peers at the same level (only some people who are extroverted can make it; not introvert friendly) - Expectations not clear; they never give you a clear sense of what they want you to do or what success looks like (you are supposed to act like you’re a director, avp or vp all at the same time) - Heard this from many people that the only real way to get promoted fast is to get competing offers (so the mgt tries as much as possible to not promote you or pay you more despite your contributions)
