Pluspunten
Several nice colleagues; week off between Christmas and New Year's
Minpunten
People are treated as expendables. When finances don't match up to the targets communicated to Wall Street, headcount is reduced. Averaged about one layoff per year. Good hardworking people are escorted out the door, yet many toxic employees are allowed to stay. No approval/money given to managers/directors to travel to offices to meet their direct reports in other cities/countries. Very little to no approval/money allotted for professional development. Lots of different systems (many of which are homegrown) that supposedly captured the same information (eg, resource allocation, unit forecasting, project database, metrics); when new systems are rolled out, the old ones are not retired, which results in lots of frustration, especially when the systems produce different results. It's impossible to deal with all the administrative work caused by these systems and yet also remain 90% billable.
