Pluspunten
- Health insurance requires amongst the lowest employee contributions that I’ve ever seen - They promote internally whenever possible - It’s a good company to start your career at as long as you don’t mind low pay and lackluster benefits - If your department/site meets bonus criteria, your bonus is pretty significant - There are robust teams available to answer questions you have and coordinators seldom have to deal with issues with contracts, invoices, or routine regulatory work
Minpunten
- Clinical trial quality is highly dependent on the site where the data was captured - Some locations are masterminds of walking the line between ethical and unethical - Sites are pressured to make money as a primary goal and secondarily focus on quality - Nonstop changes since beginning at the company. Entire departments have been let go, sites were started up and shut down a year later, significant layoffs are always looming, unexpected and en masse - Employee confidence is at an all time low, resulting in mass departures of staff, both new and tenured - Management has their head in the sand about the realities and focus resources towards certain studies neglecting the rest - The AES integration we are doing with Acurian is not going to help the sites achieve their goals. Acurian has been shown to be a non-participating partner and without site to recruiter pathways, it will not improve. - Workloads are highly dependent on the site. Some sites are cruising by and others are stressed up to the point of almost bursting. - Senior management prefers to deliver bad news via email rather than discuss announcements live via a conference call. - The 401k match is laughable and does nothing to encourage long-term employees to stay. - Bonuses are often unobtainable
