Once could have said job security and industry stability, however this is no longer true. It's certainly not the pay, benefits, or advancement opportunity, none of which are competitive, even by food industry standards, which are already notoriously low.

One of the most political companies I've worked for, it's now very similar to Pepsi. if you're a friend of the right executive, you're on the fast track with lots of career potential. Best of all, you can safely work 9 to 5 with little overtime, while the mushrooms are busy taking care of the details late at night. The key to success here is having a powerful sponsor; otherwise, you'll likely stagnate in a cubicle at Corporate, and eventually be farmed out to Shared Business Services, or dismissed in another round of cost savings.
