I've worked for SSI for a few years now, and consider myself lucky to be part of an industry leading organization. Due to the onboarding of several large customers, there's been many opportunities for dedicated employees to be promoted. The good: - Party planning committee which celebrates monthly milestones and boosts morale - Annual salary increases and strong pay structure - Rec room with ping pong table and arcade games - Convenient location with ample parking for commuters - A strong team of committed people who do their best to support clients

Minpunten

The bad: - SSI is a traditional managed IT services and cloud hosting provider. At times, it can get stressful. This is the life we chose. Not for those who are faint of heart.

SSI has taught me sooooo much! There is no other place that will teach you so much so fast and give you the hands on experience to grow in your field of interest. From my own experience, SSI recognizes those that work hard and they take care of those employees very well. I had originally come into the company for a helpdesk position with little experience but SSI took a chance on me and afforded me the opportunity to find my passion in cyber security. They constantly push me to aim higher and reach my maximum potential. They went above and beyond to help me get to the position I am at now, they even paid for my training and my certification. In my 4 years here I have always felt appreciated, they have raised my sense of self worth, they have been like family to me, and I will be forever grateful for SSI.

Minpunten

The only con I can think of is that I often see helpdesk employees who don't want to do their jobs and then complain about it. I don't think that is the company's fault but it would be nice to hire some more experienced techs or at least techs that want to learn and work. Engineers have their own heavy workload so when we have to do another person's job too because they couldn't google it can be frustrating.
