Still has some of the brand recognition (Talend/Qlik) Products on their own are very capable to complete on functionality and price. Lets hope it becomes a true single platform like INFA (cloud) or MSFT (Datafabrick) Good sales compensation.
Minpunten
To many product lines, no longer a “single unified platform” confusing for customers and product management. The clear direction of the product roadmap went out of the window after TB came onboard. With TB some toxic global and local leaders onboarded also. Many projects were cancelled and many people left and were not replaced over the last 2 years. With the most recent reduction (in force) of mostly Talend staff the means to sell and support have become an even larger challenge. Many are looking to leave as a result. All this has put Talend in a situation where our competitors have gained and overtook our position in the market. Like Qlik, Talend will be a product “we used to know” OTE is a guess / Wishful thinking by the VP. Even if all sales supporting roles were in place and efficient.
