Our teamwork culture and my co-workers make Targetbase a great place to work -- we have added some phenomenal talent over the past few years to help support the direction the agency is headed and its coming through in the kind of work we are delivering. We have a leadership team that truly cares about employees and an open door policy for feedback, concerns with our CEO. There is transparency in where the company is headed and challenges are shared and also met head-on. Talent is recognized and rewarded; there are many opportunities to grow across the agency. Leadership is compassionate and invested in employees success -- they will always make time to help someone. I appreciate the amount of flexibility I have schedule wise, especially with kiddo commitments. Overall, Targetbase is a great place to work where I have been given many opportunities to grow and excel.

I had a lot of opportunities to branch out and learn from other departments. Everyone was willing to put in the effort to offer me help or advice.

I wish I had more hands-on opportunities and shadow.

There are some really kind, supportive people who work there. Pay is/was ok.

Terrible, toxic culture, starting at the top. Constant hand-slapping by leadership about the business downturn, but guess what? The work output largely sucks. And teams keep making stupid mistakes that make clients angry. Clients leave, and somehow it's a surprise. They're trying to become "more than the email agency," but they cannot even do email all that well. Leadership constantly talking about how excited they are about the Omnicom/IPG merger, talking it up to employees who are demoralized and worried about losing their jobs. Totally tone deaf. Lots of voluntary turnover, but leadership doesn't seem to be picking up on that signal. Benefits keep getting cut. Holidays taken away. Insurance getting worse & more expensive. Insanely misplaced focus on tracking your in-office days. They used to have someone walk around and take attendance. Taking attendance of adults. Now they just ping your computer. If anyone dares to leave early on a Friday, leadership will send a passive-agressive message like "Hi friends, did I miss happy hour?" Account people can be terrible. Been yelled at, torn down in public, sworn at, lied to, etc. Overall, hands down the worst experience with an employer I've ever had.
