Pluspunten
I would say aside from the obvious technical experience and being entry level, you learn a lot about collaborating, effective communication, with the opportunity to work as a vendor for one of the largest tech giants in the world.
Minpunten
Global leadership is highly disorganized and unaccountable. During my time, I experienced constant turnover—six managers and two site OMs—which led to a lack of stability and direction. Communication was poor and frequently changing, yet frontline staff were blamed for the chaos. Team Managers openly spoke disrespectfully to engineers with no consequences, even in front of senior leadership. KPIs were on trashy white boards, public display and used to shame rather than support growth, and 1:1s were conducted publicly, discouraging honest dialogue. We were also pressured to write positive Glassdoor reviews and questioned if we declined. Feedback surveys felt performative, with no visible follow-through or improvement plans. Meetings were excessive, unproductive, and often disrupted actual work. “Fun” activities felt forced and out of touch. Ultimately, only upper management seemed to benefit. Opportunities for advancement or meaningful rewards were minimal unless you were part of the inner circle. It's a small club and you are not invited. At least we could compete for a mediocre bonus though, amirite? 😉
