Pluspunten
Flexibility, good compensation salary-wise, and many competent colleagues at mid and lower levels who are generous with their time and wisdom. The best part of working with TFAll is the chance to learn from network partners, participants, and alumni, who are deeply committed to their mission and passionate about achieving their intended outcomes.
Minpunten
TFAll is led by some incompetent senior leaders who are deeply insecure about themselves because they have not done the work or do not have the "right" identity, which translates to viciousness in their interactions with others and constantly needing entire teams to support and prop them up so they can look good externally. They do not live into the outlined principles and ways of working that are constantly drilled into other colleagues, somehow believing that they are above this culture. Navigating internal politics and power structures is exhausting, and is where most of the day's energy is spent rather than focusing on the actual work to be done. The culture is toxic and while shifts are to be expected, this is not an enjoyable place to work in particularly if you are from the Global South due to the unwritten norms around hierarchy. In some roles, you experience a lot of autonomy in decision making for your work, but this is dependent on who you work with. (Some BAME folks trade on their racial identity, but have perpetuated learned whiteness that harms their colleagues and the work they do.)
