Individual contributors can make a difference. Other ICs are pleasant. Good software idea.
Minpunten
Company leadership doesn't know how to manage its money, which is felt at all levels in a start up. Virtually no room to even ask about raises or training/career development. Obvious department favoritism from leadership. Departments that normally wouldn't, get substantially more budget, more training, and more public praise. Leadership can demand personal loyalty, extremely late hours, and tends to get upset at feedback/constructive criticism.
