      Pluspunten

      Work-life balance is great. Flexibility in work schedule is unmatched. TechSlice provides a team environment with strong senior developers that you can learn from and grow your technical skills with. The work is meaningful and you can see the direct results of your work. They have interesting projects that actively contribute to life-saving activities. Management is technical, transparent and down to earth. Comparative to other start-ups, TechSlice's work is stable and pays well. Management and team members are highly collaborative and open to suggestions or trying new ideas.

      Minpunten

      All work is remote which is also a 'Pro' and common during Covid however, if you are a sole contributor on a project it can be isolating at times.

      Pluspunten

      I worked there for about a year and I loved my time there, the people are great and willing to share their knowledge. Many of the engineers are very talented and are great resources. They trusted me to work on client projects and were consistently pushing me to improve and learn. Overall, my best working experience so far.

      Minpunten

      It is a small company, so its engineers must be dedicated to getting projects done and shipped, which is not bad. This meant I did not get as much feedback on the work I was producing as I would have liked. I learned and grew a lot and my coding style improved over the internship, but more feedback like code review would have made more of an impact.
