Sometimes difficult industry to make adequate profits for re-investment (Telecom, Industrial Manufacturing). Can require long hours and unpaid overtime if salaried. Only available health plan is high deductible. Often expected to wear multiple hats within a single job title. Much of the training in the industry is OJT, so can take time to develop expertise.
