Pluspunten
Telemynd sends quality referrals with clients who genuinely want help and are willing to invest themselves in the therapy process. Many clients come from referral sources like Tricare, which is traditionally underserved in the world of online telehealth. Having worked with numerous EHRs and multiple platforms, I find Charm to be perfectly adequate. Does it take a bit of getting used to? Yes, but Telemynd has clearly done a lot of work to create templates that make documenting encounters fairly painless and quick for the provider. If you're building a private practice, Telemynd is a great option because your Provider Coordinator (a real person who works with you to build and manage your caseload) can fill up your clinics quickly. You don't have to rely on self-marketing or trolling therapy boards to recruit clients, which for me is a huge deal. You also get to control the number of referrals you get and have control over your shared calendar, which is nice. The weekly pay (after the first 30 days pass) is also nice. I can't speak to career opportunities within Telemynd, as I'm a 1099 therapist, but it does feel like Telemynd has a positive culture and would be a good place to work.
Minpunten
The reimbursement rates are a bit low compared to the industry standard. If Telemynd paid another $15/session, as a provider I'd strongly consider giving up other platforms (Headway, Grow Therapy, Rula, etc.) to build a practice exclusively around them. As it is, Telemynd currently makes up roughly half of allotted clinical spots.
