Good wage, limited paid sick leave - You earn paid sick hours (1 paid sick hour for every 30 hours worked)

But if you run out of paid sick hours, you cannot call out sick. Instead of simply allowing an unpaid sick day the employee incurs a "strike" in OCC's infantilizing strike system. OCC also puts up a lot of resistance to providing COVID pay, and all of this is particularly irritating b/c the workplace is a breeding ground for illness
