      Pluspunten

      I worked in IT Services. Benefits are you can work from home twice per week and can leave office early every Wednesday and Friday. There is no micro management, friendly environment and bosses are generally good.

      Minpunten

      The bosses act good and they think their employees are stupid. Heard a colleague asked for a transfer but the senior management back stabbed her and blocked the move. There is a group including directors and they promoted people in this group. They have the practice of hiring people to implement projects so that the directors can achieve their KPI. Once finish, they will ask them to go.

      Stable and comfortable for most people Nice campus, working environment - just next to the scenic Bedok Reservoir Predictable workload - given almost everything runs based on the yearly academic calendar Work-Life Balance (depends on who your boss is, and which department you work in)

      Minpunten

      Very centralized decision making, usually based on the Principal. I believe the new Principal has a more autonomous approach so things could be better now (since mid 2016). Unexciting - tends to take the "safe" or "proven" route (follow what we did before-approach) "Do-things-right" over the "Do-the-right-thing" culture Progression and promotions are non-existent for most, and slow for others (even the hi-po talent takes forever to get to something like Section Head or Manager)
