Pluspunten

Welcoming to non-STEM graduates. Support during 6-week training scheme is great (accomodation provided, etc.) Potential for training opportunities. Potential for varied job roles across the 2 year scheme. New further training courses (Development, Business Analysis) allow for further IT career opportunities than in previous years. Pastoral care is top-notch. Frequent and varied company socials across the various UK regions. Medicash benefits are very helpful. Colleagues are great.

Post-graduation of the 6 week training scheme can leave you forgotten about, especially when (if) you're placed on client site. Lack of transparency of on-goings between your client and your employer. Potential to be stuck in a role for 2 years with no career progression due to the client. Competitor schemes offer better salary progression. Pay is not relative to the roles you may find yourself placed in (clients paying exorbitant amounts relative to your actual earnings with expectations beyond what you might feel comfortable with). Annual reviews require significant investment beyond your working role ("giving back to the academy") without much reward. With a roughly 15% increase for an exceptional candidate over a 10% increase for a successful one - there's very little incentive beyond just focusing on your own personal development.
