Management treat their employees badly and don't communicate with them. I originally started out in the restaurant but asked to move to reception to further my career to which they agreed. A month later, I am only doing night shifts (which I've said countless times I don't want to do), only done three training day shifts (which were when I first started) and keep being made to work in the already over-staffed restaurant with no explanation as to why. I'm due to start working day shifts in reception in two weeks when one of the receptionists leaves but I've still not had any recent training and judging by the rotas for the next two weeks, I'm not going to get that training. I've told them I need more training on day shifts and they seem to listen at the time but when I next check the rota, I'm back in the restaurant and night shifts.
