They overwork and underpay staff, when pay equity issues were brought to the executive team, we were gaslit, told to be grateful for minor pay increases, and then found out that those at the very top got an yearly bonus that was higher than many staff’s annual salaries. I’ve spent a number of years here being treated terribly and being overworked. These issues have been brought to leadership but they refuse to acknowledge that they are the problem. The org has a culture of disrespect where bullying goes unaddressed and staff does not get the resources they need to thrive. Unless they majorly change and hire a new executive team and CEO, I wouldn’t recommend that anyone I care about work at Climate Reality.
