But ironically it's okay for people who are favored to use inappropriate language. The point is that you must be very political to remain on payroll and be diplomatic even if others are intentionally stirring the pot. This company is mostly ran by liberal women. There is no real diversity in this company besides the C-Suits. There are no plans for losses or what happens after ending bankruptcy. Prices are being slashed with no intention and stores are being asked for input that's not being taken seriously. Salaried managers and outside designers are factored into operating hours so for example, if you have 3 salaried managers and 2 full time leaders 200 hours and and in-home designer that does not physically work in the store which is another 40 hours out of like 300 needs to be allocated between 20 people. You do the math. This company was not honest about hours with anyone from management down to associates and they do not care if they financially cripple someone after accepting this job. Upper level management from District and above are out of touch with the market and stores. Big company operations with a small company mindset. There are so many tasks, emails, calls, and there is a system or program for everything and nothing is centralized. There are so many quirks and errors that are far beyond your control. You have to believe in the company and the lies as much as they do if you want to keep this job and be willing to lie to your team as well and if not they will do do everything and compile every interaction into one document to terminate you. There are certain things that you cannot fix that the resource center can. I was scolded for utilizing this resource. There are many disingenuous people you will encounter. The tenured people in management positions or "support roles: are shiesty and will throw rocks and hide their hands. This company goes out of their way and makes it a mission to tell company employees that they should avoid and report people for unionizing. They are not employee first as they promote and one equals three really means one great person to take on three roles. This company brags about their low shrink from customers to employees but there is someone always watching the camera and they pay a lot of money for it and have them monitoring the team in areas that you do not expect to be recorded. It's very much so like Big Brother is always watching.
