You get zero support. Working remote is great however, when being completely new, you are alone. No one checks in on you to ask if you have any questions or for training. The first week is the only week of training you get and 3/5 days are of going over the employee manual instead of the position. The manual is the usual, no smoking inside, etc etc. Basic information that doesn't need 3 days wasted versus learning the role you are hired for. When they say they are "like a family", they mean it. They are literally sons and daughters and moms married to each other etc. It's not as welcoming as someone who isn't married into the company. Also no money in recruiting. You get like 30 dollars for a placement.

This is disappointing to see as Inline prides itself on a great personal training model and we work hard to keep everyone positively connected. Our remote positions are optional and NOT a requirement. Remote work isn't for everyone, it can be isolating, and takes self-discipline to be successful. You have a choice to work from home and/or to work in the office with leadership and other team members. New Hires have a set schedule to ease them into the company the first week. The first morning in the office together is spent on the employee handbook, onboarding, and paperwork with HR. The President and Leadership team then take new hires to lunch. The afternoon is spent one-on-one with our president to learn about her and the company's history. HR will also review the different software applications and make sure that new hires are set up to log in and then distribute home desk equipment. An IT meeting is set to make sure equipment is set up properly and functioning. The training manual is specific to the position as well as the training schedule. The remainder of the first training week is spent with leadership from each department to help understand each role and how it impacts you, software and application training, and job shadows with your team to better understand your position and how to set up your day. Inline prides itself on a positive culture and conducts confidential "Stay Interviews" with HR to make sure everything is going well for all our new people and to help with any issues that they may have. These are scheduled at 30-day intervals for the first 6 months then at 1 year. Your specific team will have daily virtual standups to go over any issues and ways to help one another. The whole company has a weekly virtual get-together "Huddle" on Thursdays to celebrate wins and recognize people for a job well done as well as birthdays, anniversaries, and positive client feedback. Inline also has a social committee that is open for all employees to participate. This team sets up virtual get-togethers and themes for the huddle. Yes, we even do themed get-togethers like "Wear your favorite jersey" each week along with quarterly company-wide (in-person) get-togethers and trainings. Inline is a family-owned business and we treat everyone as a family member. People are not just a revenue number here at Inline and they do really mean that! Inline offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commissions. Inline is very competitive with the market and in most cases, commissions paid are much better than what our competitors offer.
