Extremely long hours (10+hours) and constantly on our feet , the managers are picky with every single unnecessary details and staff are fed up with the way this place is managed . We are constantly climbing the narrow stairs up and down to serve the food and canapes ,since the hotel interior is extremely old . I have started to experience knee pain and backpain throughout the long shifts. There is also little opportunities for progression/ promotion as the hotel is small and over staffed so your chance of progressing is very little
