Pluspunten
It honestly is one of the funnest jobs I've had. Getting to talk about your interests and passions, and getting paid for it, is awesome. Plus, getting to make that emotional connection through things like movies, games, comics, etc. is super fulfilling and makes it easy to love the job.
Minpunten
There isn't nearly enough hours to go around. I swear the higher-ups at GameStop just want ThinkGeek as a branch to fail, because they just don't spend the money for us to succeed on us. It felt like hours were cut more and more every week, making it even harder to control the sales floor. Our product at the beginning was constantly changing, which was great, but quickly it stagnated, and customers noticed. They would come in, see that all of our product is the same, and leave pretty unimpressed. It makes you want to get angry at your store leader, but it's mostly out of his or her hands.
