The saying "All that glitters is not gold" is certainly applicable to Thinkitive. While it may initially present itself as an attractive company with friendly management, supportive senior staff, and a positive work environment, my experience tells a different story. Many employees seem content, but it's important to note that they might feel bound by contractual obligations and have limited alternatives. Management often treats subordinates poorly, showing little concern for their thoughts and opinions. During performance evaluations, managers appear to intentionally magnify the slightest inconveniences, turning the process into a matter of ego rather than constructive feedback. It's clear that many managers hold grudges against employees who achieve even modest success. The existence of illogical and inconsistent rules within teams is baffling. Despite the mental strain and potential for depression, managers consistently believe that employees are not performing at their best. Raising a complaint often leads to negative consequences, potentially costing you your job, as the management tends to favor managers over employees. The prevalence of politics and favoritism in project allocation and performance evaluations is unjustifiable. Employees who curry favor with their managers reap benefits, while others suffer the consequences. The hierarchy established by managers lacks rationality, often leading to managers shouldering the blame for workplace conflicts. The rigid, authoritarian environment can take a severe toll on employees' mental well-being, possibly necessitating therapy. Work hours often extend well beyond regular working hours, with managers demanding round-the-clock dedication, even during medical leaves. The absence of work-life balance is evident, with extended hours and a lack of compensation for working on Saturdays, as per the managers' wishes. While the company organizes leadership and grooming sessions, it seems that these are qualities the leaders themselves could benefit from, particularly in fostering a happy and healthy work environment. The presence of unnecessary rules, unrealistic deadlines set by managers, toxic team dynamics, and manager grudges has made Thinkitive an exceedingly challenging place to work. In summary, it's safe to say that Thinkitive is one of the least favorable places to work.
