Great place to work as long as Mike wasn't in the office.
Minpunten
ThoughtLab has a problem that stems from the top down. CEO Mike Harker would come into the office spouting all sorts of ideas, talking about this and that. Then he'd leave, and the whole office would collectively sigh in relief. Mike would have what we would call his shiny new toys. He'd hire and employee that he thought was the best thing ever. Then after a couple of months the shine would wear off and he would either fire them, or they were smart enough to move on their own. I have never worked at a place with such high turnover. I have no idea how they keep clients around. In my time there three project managers quit in under six months. Also, ThougtLab loves to say they have four offices. It's more like an office in SLC, a guy with a phone in San Fran who used to work at there, someone in Atlanta does the same, and no one in New York. I think they just put that on there to look cool.
