Pluspunten
Colleagues mostly cooperative and pleasant to work with. Mentors/managers were helpful. Employees given opportunities to learn and pick up skills due to the steep learning curve.
Minpunten
- The absolute worst has to be the bad management. They did not honour the salary stated in the employment contract, made all sorts of excuses as to why there was only an increment on top of the initial probation pay.
- A particular person in the upper management (who did not actually run things) expected employees to put in as much work as possible, even praised those who had put in overtime (no overtime pay too, even though it is a MOM requirement for a certain salary range). Was very fixated on seeing figures, expected you to be a pro after probation. He was the one who determined the lower-than-expected salaries for employees. Face very very punchable.
- It is a small company, so benefits are limited.
- Unless you are doing graphic design, the job is very niche, so the skills are hard to transfer.
- Employees juggle many projects at once and as a result have to put in OT quite a lot.
- Not much annual leave and it was troublesome to take leave, needed to jump through hoops.
- Office slightly out of the way at Bukit Merah Central.
