Pluspunten

The culture is one that is pretty relaxed while also wanting to push forward. The managers really care about their employees. Socially, the company has improved and really try to build community in a fully remote environment. Teamwork is encouraged and needed. Benefits are comparable to others in the industry. The leadership team cares about maintaining growth without sacrificing a work/life balance.

Minpunten

Overall, the biggest cons come from a lack of communication. Teams are often in silos and there is little connection from the entry-level jobs, to the management team. The company's focus is always on new products instead of fixing the older struggling products which can cause friction with customers. Many projects/opportunities get stuck in the "waiting for approval from leadership" land and then get forgotten about. The benefits are comparable but not amazing. However, a lot of this has grown over the last year. There are growing pains in making the company more "legitimate" and moving from a start-up to a sustained company that plans to be around for a long time. Company structure and processes seem to change every week.

Pluspunten

Accommodating work-life balance Generous time off for employees (requiring 4+ years of seniority) Competitive product pricing (at the time of posting, $119 for All Access), which positions Tithely as a budget-friendly option for churches. However, any price increases beyond this could diminish that unique advantage.

Minpunten

Several issues seem to be contributing to instability: Multiple "restructuring" layoff events suggest financial strain or investor pressure (e.g., Accel-KKR); optics concerning, though speculative. Software bugs outpace fixes, eroding trust in Tithely, Elvanto, and Breeze—e.g., poor form/giving integration, website security gaps, and incomplete unification post-acquisitions (Elvanto 2018, Breeze 2021). Marketing highlights non-functional features; "Simply Serve" slogan misses the mark. Perception of inequity gaps in accountability between support/engineering teams and executive-level management. Internal E-NPS scores aren't publicized, despite leadership claiming satisfaction.
