Pluspunten

Toaster treat their employees fairly and are very considerate employers. While the team is obviously multi-levelled in seniority/roles, there is no feeling of hierarchy whatsoever - everyone is treated equally and 'junior' employees are valued as much as C-suite employees, and everyone is listened to. Management are approachable to all. There had been some internal issues with one of the directors in the past, however, that director has since left the business and the two that remain are great.

Minpunten

While I am more than happy with remote working, having everyone fully remote and no permanent/private office space could possibly be an issue for some people, but Toaster do arrange regular socials and all-hands meetings for all employees to attend in person.

Lack of leadership Inexperienced SF management The work is lacking creatively No office structure London HR is controlling One London director is impossible to work/communicate with The SF office is in a transitional phase so there are still a lot of kinks to work out but the main issue here is the lack of true leadership coming from the London office. The SF office is being led by inexperienced management that think they know how to run an agency. As good as the intentions are, there is a lot more damage being done than being fixed. London would see the issue if they had more of a presence in this office. It sends a message to the employees currently working here that they don't really care what happens within their own company when the people left in charge are able take advantage of their position.
