Minpunten
I've worked at a lot of companies and it wasn't until I worked at Toja where I was flabbergasted at how they treat their employees, at least in the department I worked in -Leadership is disorganized, ignorant and verbally abusive -Owner tends to yell in the board room at his employees and thinks very little of the people that work for him - Upper management called a meeting, just to have their employees tell them concerns they were facing in their departments, in hopes that things would change. These issues were never addressed after that initial meeting -Upper management piled on many tasks beyond a individual's bandwidth, expertise and job description. When asked to shuffle these tasks around to allow for time to work on them, they refused & expected everything to be done within the individual's bandwidth, regardless of more tasks being added -No incentive to work harder. When multiple individuals asked for a raise (in which they were entitled to as they were doing more than one person's job) they were denied - Monthly paid basis - Management refuses to adopt a hybrid work schedule (even though many departments has asked for the opportunity to at least try) -Employees are expected to be at work 9am sharp and not to leave any sooner than 5pm everyday, otherwise upper management found it an issue and would call individuals out -Generally, upper management does not trust their employees and micromanaged incessantly
Pluspunten
They'll tell you you're getting paid 21-22 an hour and that you'll also be on a counter balance forklift all day 90/10. (90%on the forklift, 10% off lifting boxes as heavy as 70lbs) If you work for a temp agency such as IS2, you'll only get paid 19$ and hour.
Minpunten
CEO of Toja Grid makes you wear facemasks while lifting boxes as heavy as 70+ pounds and up. Ontario lifted the mandate and there's no need for them. They'll tell you you're gonna be on the counterbalance forklift 90% of the day but end up having you be a general laborer lifting furniture onto pallets all day. Supervisor named Andrew yells at truck drivers just trying to load and unload their trucks because TojaGrid has a a terrible time schedule and CANNOT keep up with their orders. When I worked there they were about 4 days behind shipment schedule, so they got angry at workers not wanting to work over time on weekends for low pay because they couldn't figure out a shipping schedule that worked for them or their clientele. 1/10 would not recommend the management or company to work for.
