It’s frustrating and honestly pretty discouraging when your time, effort, and knowledge don’t seem to be valued. It also feels like the teams doing the bulk of the day-to-day work and making sure everything runs smoothly aren’t compensated fairly for the workload they carry. Raises and improvements to benefits are limited, even for those who consistently go above and beyond. At the same time, there’s a clear difference in how departments are treated. Sales teams are rewarded with trips, events, and strong financial incentives, while internal teams, who play a huge role in actually driving success for this company, don’t see the same level of recognition or pay. It creates a pretty big disconnect. What makes it harder is that the company promotes a very positive, upbeat culture, but that doesn’t always match the reality employees experience day to day. Over time, this discourages a lot of employees from wanting to remain here.
