God help this place.
Management has no idea what they are doing. There was absolutely no training. Anything that resembled training was cast in a pompous way, i.e., "I've been in this industry for {x} years and I have tutored so many successful people." or "I have a very important role here." Great. Tell me how your vintage applies to my particular job.
No one knew how to perform the duties (established by the predecessor) for my job, but were unwilling to pull themselves from their management chairs to help in the learning process. I'm all for "deep end of the pool" learning, but you have to follow up and make sure your comrade didn't drown!
Very unstable. The entire business lacks clear vision and seems inclined to expand for the immediate cash influx without doing a thorough cost-benefit analysis. The old, "shoot first, ask questions later."
