Great work life balance and great compensation. The tools you get to use as an AE are extremely helpful and they do have a pretty good marketing engine to bring in leads.
Minpunten
In the beginning Turvo was an amazing place to work but after being acquired and then changing CEOs everything went sideways. Everyone on the executive leadership team has 0 supply chain, logistics, freight broker, SaaS, TMS experience. The CEO is a former finance guy and it doesn’t seem like he understands how sales work. He repeatedly told reps how the SMB deals that were being sold were awful and not profitable but then also pushing for us to sell more and more. The former CMO who now managers the sales team had 0 sales experience. They are an organization that wants to be this enterprise solution but don’t have an enterprise ready product. Then they look down upon the SMB deals that they are actually a fit for. They also have super unrealistic goals and expectations when it comes to ARR and prospecting. I am not sure how many freight brokers they think are out there that are a good fit and also shopping for a new TMS. Lastly the onboarding process and the onboarding team is a mess and makes the AEs lives miserable.
