Minpunten

They could not adapt to growth and to transition from a small team to a scale up. The culture is crumbling and becoming very toxic. You have unlimited holiday but that is only a facade because in reality people are so over worked they don't use it. Most of the people are burnt out and there is pressure to grow, the business has financial difficulties and treating people poorly when dealing with dismissals. They throw you out the door without blinking and without a fair process. There is no fair process when it comes to promotions at all. You only succeed if you agree with the founders. If you dare challenge the status quo, you are out. This is why people do not challenge anymore and have become afraid to express their opinion. This staled their growth and allowed incompetence. They have people in high ranks that are not properly prepared for the job. Even though they are global, their cultural awareness is a joke. This has been the worst job I had to date.

Thank you for sharing, the culture is in fact changing due to the size of the company, it's an important adaptation but it's never taken away from the type of culture we have; inclusive, welcoming, open. it's a work in progress to maintain while business is growing so I'm sorry to read you feel this way. The unlimited holidays are there for everyone to use as they see fit, our Employee Success team tracks to ensure everyone takes at least 25 days holiday to allow people to have time away from work. As the one who reviews promotions first, I can assure you IT IS FAIR, and each promotion undergoes a selective process that is justified, the founders, understandably, don't have the capacity to approve/disapprove each request that comes through. I'm sorry you feel this way about the culture, it is difficult to adhere to everyone when a company evolves and changes, we wish you all the best

Minpunten

You are basically on your own. No real training at all. Overall it feels like a high school clique. The pay & flexibility of the role are NOT worth it.
