Minpunten
●Senior leadership has been in the U.S. Army for on average 20+ years, leading to generational divide in thinking/ideals between senior-most personnel and junior personnel. ●Not uncommon to see senior personnel receive far more lenient punishments for actions than junior personnel for comparable or worse infractions. ●Operates under its own legal code, seperate from both state and federal; if a crime is committed, the offender could be tried separately on both the state/federal level and within the Army internally. ●Currently a Peace Time Army - This is both a Pro and a Con; biggest risks you'll encounter is from everyday life and training exercises, so if you're seeking a movie-esque military experience with deployments and action, you likely won't receive it ●You are *technically* obligated to work every day of the week, at any time. Weekends are not guaranteed, and neither is rest/recovery time. HOWEVER; typically Saturday and Sunday are off days, but it is not uncommon to be placed on a work detail that potentially takes up an entire weekend. Work details that entail a 24-hour working window are common And many more, I encourage looking at further reviews prior to making a decision
