Pluspunten
The mission of recruiting and training the future of the Army's Officer Corps is great and a very rewarding career. Seeing your students succeed and go on to a very rewarding career as well is really awesome. Good schedule (flexible to a great extent) PTO is good Benefits package is also good.
Minpunten
Pay (on the civilian side) is nothing to boast about (its a good spot if you are already retired from the Military. Dealing with the current generation of 'helicopter parents' is probably the most stressful part of this job. Need to work for the federal government for 3 years in order for the automatic contributions to your IRA to be vested. There isn't really any option for upward mobility.
