Pluspunten

Pros are that the mission of the clinic is fantastic. The idea is to help underprivileged people get access to medical, dental and behavioral health services. The people that work there are incredibly dedicated and empathetic to the patients.

Minpunten

The cons are that HR does not stand up for you when needed. They essentially let department heads buddy up outside of work, and then take their word for anything that is relayed to them. I was never given an option to sit down with HR and my supervisor together to discuss anything that was going on within my department. I was essentially dismissed out of hand and told to conform to absurd changes in leadership.

Their values are evident with each action that takes place. The top priority is always the experience of patients and how to make improvements that benefit both visitors and staff. Very reasonable assessment of pay and benefits; they're non-profit but remain competetive with other employers in the area. They foster a culture of kindness, saying 'thank you', and caring for employees needs and work-life balance.

Minpunten

I don't consider this much of a con, but just to fill the required space - they've grown really rapidly. It can be hard to implement processes that work on a large scale that are built on a small-scale foundation. There are still improvements to be made, but they address them pretty effectively.
