Pluspunten
If nothing else Uptake has one of the best offices to work in that I've ever experienced. There's a lot of free snacks and drinks. A lot of teams have a 'bar desk' with alcohol and the second floor cafe is a great place to get away from everyone and work. Unlimited vacation is actually unlimited. Six weeks of PTO is not unheard of. There are teams at Uptake that are accomplishing a lot, and if you're on one of them then the hard work you do will be valued.
Minpunten
Leadership at the company in the last 1.5 years has wasted the potential that Uptake had. Through a series of poorly executed re-orgs leadership has driven away much of the amazing talent who believed in the Uptake vision. Employee confidence in leadership is almost nonexistent. Layoffs are done with little understanding of their impact on project teams. Hard work, specialized knowledge and experience do not equal any type of security.
