Minpunten
No growth opportunities Low pay No structure No guidebook minus the one we wrote ourselves I tried, I really did, to create a career with Vitac. I had a promotion dangled over me for months after I had already been given extra responsibilities and was training new employees. I should rephrase that to say, I was going to be given *the opportunity to apply* for a job I was already doing. Ultimately, my manager really did try to get me a promotion and was told to wait until the new fiscal year, and then she was abruptly removed from my department...they brought in a new higher-up in Operations that met with me only to say that she didn't know who I was and couldn't give me anything. I am sorry I gave them as many years as I did. Before everyone went remote in 2020, the office culture was terrible. They put Quality in the same area as the captioners who need a silent workspace, so we were unable to talk and collaborate while building the department from the ground up, When we tried to meet in other rooms, we got nasty looks for being in there. The office was nice but very dingy and dusty.
